Public support rallies for the heroic Ethiopian National Defense Force have been underway across various cities in the Amhara Region starting from 6:00 AM local time. The rallies aim to show solidarity with the defense force for its grand struggle to protect the nation's borders and for the fruitful results achieved in enforcing the rule of law and safeguarding national sovereignty.

The public gatherings are taking place in several towns across the North Gondar Zone, including Gondar and Debark, as well as in the North Wollo Zone, including Woldia city, the Felakit Gergera town administration, and Meqet woreda, alongside Seqota, Wereta, and Debre Tabor.

Rally participants gathered to voice strong support for the defense force's law enforcement campaign and heroic efforts, proclaiming that the defense force serves as the symbol and manifestation of national brotherhood, sisterhood, and multinational unity. Attendees declared that they will elevate the country's honor through the relentless struggle of the military, while paying tribute to the sacrifices made by the defense force alongside federal and regional security forces.

Supporters reaffirmed that while crushing the enemies of Ethiopia, they will raise the national flag high, expressing full support for government measures taken to establish lasting peace and pledging to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the government to strengthen and prosper the nation. Crowds strongly condemned forces aligned with historical enemies to disrupt the country's peace, asserting that national unity will not be derailed by the plots of anti-peace forces. 

Rally participants also highlighted strategic ambitions by stating that the nation will transition from the dam to the port, affirming that ownership of a sea outlet will be realized through the sacrifice of its children, and maintaining that the defense force, born for victory, remains the nation's reliable anchor and guarantee of local, regional, and national peace through collective vigilance.
