Ethiopian Airlines has been named the "Best Airline in Africa" at the ongoing Paris Air Show, receiving a major international award known as the "Oscars of the Aviation Industry."
Based on passenger feedback for the SKYTRAX awards, the airline also won "Best Economy Class in Africa," "Best Business Class in Africa," and "Best Cabin Crew in Africa." This marks the eighth consecutive year Ethiopian Airlines has been selected as the best airline in Africa.
The airline, which now serves 140 destinations, saw its Group CEO, Mesfin Tasew, state that the award signifies the strong dedication of the institution's employees and the trust earned from its customers.
In the global rankings, Qatar Airways was chosen as the world's best airline, followed by Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, and All Nippon Airways of Japan in the top five.
