Bole Sub-City Chief Executive Alemtsahay Shiferaw stated that in recent years, by starting to truly recognize nature, it has been possible to undertake large-scale successful projects.
The chief executive explained that by identifying the resources available within the sub-city and transforming areas that were previously waste dumps, they are making Bole Sub-City beautiful, clean, and convenient for residents.
She recalled that the area was once a garbage disposal site and an inconvenient place for the community. However, she highlighted that the community accepted the government's call and worked collaboratively, leading to its development to provide multiple benefits.
This project, which covers the area from Bole Cargo to Akaki, provides work for 120 organized associations and has also created job opportunities, she pointed out.
She added that this park is a significant outcome of the reform and serves as a demonstration that the government's vision has become a reality.
