Ethiopian Airlines announced today the official launch of its dedicated special Hajj travel service, promising a smoother journey for those undertaking the holy pilgrimage.
After completing full preparations, the national carrier unveiled the service today in Addis Ababa. The launch event saw top officials including the Head of Ethiopian Airlines Commercial Division, Lemma Yadicha, and the President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Sheikh Haji Ibrahim Tufa.
Lemma Yadicha kicked off the launch platform by extending warm wishes to the entire Muslim community for the upcoming 1446th Hajj season.
Among the new features unveiled, the airline is now offering special, streamlined service areas exclusively for Hajj travelers. Pilgrims can utilize these dedicated spaces for prayer and rest, available starting today.
The airline emphasized its ongoing partnership with the Muslim community and pledged continued close collaboration to ensure a seamless experience year after year.
Sheikh Haji Ibrahim Tufa lauded the airline's readiness to accommodate pilgrims on this scale, calling it a clear demonstration of government commitment. He proudly described Ethiopian Airlines as a source of national pride, a symbol promoting Ethiopia across Africa and the globe.
