The upcoming African Cities Sustainability Forum will be hosted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in September, 2024 themed “Sustainable Urbanization Planning for Africa’s Transformation - Agenda 2063,” according to top government official.
Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh shared the announcement with social media post.
He also said the African Cities Forum’s National Coordinating Committee held an awareness raising forum Tuesday.
Temesgen also stated in his message that Ethiopia, as a historic country and a founding member of the United Nations and the Organization of African Unity, is prepared to fulfill its African responsibility by organizing this forum of African brothers, which is expected to attract over 1,500 participants.
