"The Renaissance Dam is our treasure," declared numerous residents interviewed in Mekelle.

They emphasized the collaborative spirit driving the project, noting that it represents the collective hard work, dedication, and even sacrifices of Ethiopians from all walks of life. The dam, they believe, embodies a shared vision for a brighter future powered by clean energy.
