Ethio Telecom's "Hope for Tomorrow" Initiative Supports 80,000 Students

Ethio Telecom has launched a significant corporate social responsibility campaign, "Hope for Tomorrow," providing school supplies and financial aid to students and charitable organizations across Ethiopia.

The telecommunications giant announced it has allocated 98.8 million birr to supply exercise books to 80,000 primary school students from low-income families for the upcoming academic year.

In a separate initiative, the company's "Goodness" program extended financial assistance to 39 charities nationwide. CEO Frehiwot Tamru officially kicked off the program with a 2.6-million-birr donation to the Muday Charity Association.

Over the past six years, Ethio Telecom has invested over 320.8 million birr, assisting more than 373,000 students as part of its ongoing commitment to education and community support.
