High-Level Officials Arrive for Africa Climate Summit

Several high-ranking officials and dignitaries have arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the 2nd Africa Climate Summit (ACS2).

Among those who touched down at Bole International Airport were the Vice-President of the Republic of Gambia, Muhammad B. S. Jallow; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti, Abdoulkader Houssein Omar; and Ghana's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. They were greeted by Ethiopia's Minister of Peace, Mohammed Edris, along with other senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Kenyan President Joins Climate Talks in Addis Ababa

The President of the Republic of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, has arrived in Ethiopia's capital to participate in the 2nd Africa Climate Summit.

Upon his arrival at Bole International Airport, President Ruto was warmly welcomed by Minister of Transport and Logistics, Alemu Seme; Minister of Agriculture, Addisu Arega; and State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye.

Afrexim Bank President Arrives for Africa-CARICOM Summit

Benedict Okechukwu Oramah, President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afrexim Bank), has arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the 2nd Africa-CARICOM Summit.

State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye, received President Oramah upon his arrival at Bole International Airport.
