On the sidelines of the Second Africa-CARICOM Summit, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a bilateral meeting with President João Lourenço of Angola, who also serves as the Chairperson of the African Union.

The leaders' discussion centered on matters of shared interest and pressing regional issues. Following the meeting, Prime Minister Abiy took to social media, stating, "Our mutual commitment to continental progress remains firm." 

The brief message underscores the collaborative spirit and aligned vision between Ethiopia and Angola in tackling challenges and advancing the African continent's development agenda. This high-level meeting highlights the importance of strengthening partnerships among African nations to address regional and global matters with a unified voice.
