Ethiopia’s Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide, has affirmed the government's commitment to prioritizing efforts to sustain the economic successes the country has achieved.
In a press briefing held in anticipation of the nationwide "Progress Day" celebration tomorrow, the minister highlighted that Ethiopia has made significant economic strides across various sectors over the past seven years.
He explained that during the recently concluded 2017 fiscal year, a comprehensive macroeconomic reform was fully implemented, leading to notable positive outcomes for the economy.
According to the minister, this year's "Progress Day" is intended to strengthen ongoing work and build upon the successes already achieved.
The celebration is being held with various programs under the theme "Progress for Lasting Prosperity," as reported by our correspondent Getachew Balcha.
