The Meskel Demera Festival, celebrated today in Addis Ababa and across Ethiopia, concluded without incident, the Ethiopian Federal Police (EFP) announced.

The EFP noted that it successfully coordinated with various security and safety forces, deploying a technology-assisted police detail nationwide. This security success was attributed to close cooperation with the public, religious leaders, festival organizers, and local youth groups.

In recognition of this achievement, the Police extended its profound gratitude to all contributors, including the public for its significant role, the religious and community leaders, the organizing committees, and the youth. Special commendation was given to all security and safety forces for the effective execution of their assigned duties.

The EFP concluded by urging the community to maintain and strengthen this exemplary cooperation and vigilance in protecting its surroundings for the upcoming Irrecha festivals at Hora Finfinnee and Hora Arsadi.
