Ethiopian Airlines has officially refuted recent news circulating on social media that it is supplying airplanes to Russian airlines on a wet-lease basis or providing them with aircraft spare parts.

In a statement, the airline clarified that it has never been requested to do so and has not had any discussions on the matter with any party. The airline emphasized that it has no plan or intention to enter into such an arrangement, calling the circulating news "unfounded."

The company also assured its customers, partners, and stakeholders that it conducts its operations in full compliance with all applicable international laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

Ethiopian Airlines is a member of Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance.
