The 20th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples' Day will be celebrated in a unique fashion, according to House of Federation Speaker Agegnehu Teshager.
Speaking after a meeting of the festival's main coordinating committee, which included regional speakers, Agegnehu announced that the festivities will be held in the city of Hosanna in the year 2018 E.C. Speaker Agegnehu highlighted that this year's festival is expected to be exceptional due to several factors. "It will be a high-capacity event," he stated, adding that the program is specifically designed to underscore and celebrate Ethiopianness.
According to Agegnehu, the festival plays a vital role in strengthening the unity and togetherness of the nation's diverse peoples while also enhancing democracy. He emphasized that hosting the event in the Central Ethiopia Regional State will not only promote the region but also significantly contribute to stimulating its economy.
