Former Arsenal player Emmanuel Eboué has expressed his admiration for the beauty of Addis Ababa. Stating that the city is beautiful, Eboué shared that he received a warm welcome starting from his experience with Ethiopian Airlines.

As Arsenal was recently crowned the 2026 English Premier League champion, a celebratory event was held in Addis Ababa to mark the achievement. Emmanuel Eboué and members of AFTV (Arsenal Fan TV) traveled to Ethiopia to participate in the festivities and toured various development projects in the city.

The guests visited several sites, including the new Sports Park, and expressed their admiration for the work being done. According to AMN, Emmanuel Eboué stated that he was impressed by the modernity he witnessed in Addis Ababa.

The visitors remarked that the city’s greenery, cleanliness, and overall beauty were extremely appealing. They expressed their appreciation for Addis Ababa's pleasant climate, the hospitality of its residents, and the city’s rapid development and modernization. They further shared their belief that these factors will significantly enhance the city's appeal to international tourists.
