On the eve of Ethiopia's historic National Dialogue, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed welcomed Olusegun Obasanjo to his office to discuss the upcoming assembly. 

During the meeting, the Prime Minister sought to draw upon the esteemed statesman's diplomatic wisdom, particularly his experience leading the Biafra peace process. 

Prime Minister Abiy noted that these insights offer valuable lessons for Ethiopia as the nation embarks on its journey toward ensuring unity and lasting peace through dialogue. 

In a public statement reflecting on the visit, the Prime Minister expressed deep appreciation, affirming that Ethiopia remains profoundly grateful for Obasanjo's invaluable contributions to the country.
