A large crowd has gathered at Meskel Square in Addis Ababa for a peaceful demonstration, with participants actively raising their voices to express their grievances. Demonstrators are demanding the immediate lifting of the oppressive decree imposed by the illegal TPLF faction and calling on the Ethiopian government to protect the population of Tigray from the group's oppression.

They are also urging that the Pretoria Peace Agreement be fully respected, demanding justice, and strongly condemning the exploitation and trafficking of youth to Sudan, calling for an immediate end to the practice.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister's Advisor on East African Affairs, Getachew Reda, stated that the illegal TPLF group must immediately halt the trafficking of youth to Sudan. He noted that the group has severely hindered the development of the Tigray region and urged the local population to firmly reject those who act as enemies to their progress.

Getachew also called on the Ethiopian diaspora to actively work toward bringing an end to the faction's influence, emphasizing the need for collective effort to ensure Tigray returns to lasting peace in the shortest time possible.
