Major General Gebre Adhana, who served as the Commissioner of the Tigray Regional Police, has defected to the Federal Government in opposition to the TPLF’s destructive path.

Major General Gebre Adhana, a veteran TPLF leader who served as the Tigray Region Police Commissioner, has joined the Federal Government in opposition to the TPLF’s mission to dismantle the nation in alignment with historical enemies and its obsession with war.

The senior officer previously served in high-level leadership roles within the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF), heading the Defense Intelligence and Operations Main Departments until the TPLF committed treason against the country.

General Gebre Adhana broke ranks with the organization in protest of the TPLF's sinister plot, which has deepened the suffering of the Tigrayan people by forcibly recruiting minors and sending them to the frontlines as cannon fodder. His departure signals the end of the illegal TPLF faction's existence.
