UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix commended Ethiopia’s continued contributions to peacekeeping, particularly in South Sudan, during a meeting with Minister Adviser for East African Affairs Getachew Reda on the margins of UNGA 81.
During the discussion, both sides underscored the need for closer coordination and engagement to promote peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
