The Addis Ababa City Council has officially approved four cabinet-level appointments with the rank of Deputy Mayor following nominations submitted by Mayor Adanech Abiebie.

Under the newly confirmed appointments, Million Mathios assumes leadership of the Addis Ababa City Labor and Skills Bureau with the rank of Deputy Mayor, while Tilahun Kebede takes charge of the Public Service and Human Resource Development Bureau at the same rank.

The council also endorsed the Mayor’s nominations for the city’s financial and cultural portfolios, appointing Haftai Gebregziabher to head the Culture and Tourism Bureau and Abdulkedir Redwan to lead the Finance Bureau, both holding the rank of Deputy Mayor. The formal legislative approval completes the leadership setup across the four key municipal bureaus.
