The message was posted following a statement by the Ethiopian leader, with Modi taking the opportunity to express his gratitude for Abiy Ahmed's warm wishes.

Reflecting on recent diplomatic engagements, Modi fondly recalled his visit to Ethiopia last December as well as their recent meeting in New Delhi. He emphasized in his message that India greatly values its ongoing Strategic Partnership with Ethiopia.
