3rd African Job Creation Forum Kicks Off in Addis Ababa

The 3rd African Job Creation Forum has officially commenced today at the historic Adwa Victory Memorial in Addis Ababa, gathering key figures to address critical issues concerning employment and economic development across the continent.

The forum was inaugurated by high-profile dignitaries, including Temesgen Tiruneh, Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, alongside a host of other distinguished guests.

Over the next three days, the forum will intensely focus on pivotal themes aimed at bolstering Africa's economic landscape. Discussions are centered on strengthening agricultural value chains through enhanced integration of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), promoting digitalization and financial inclusion, and fostering the creation of stable and conducive job opportunities.

This significant event is a collaborative effort, organized by the Ethiopian government in partnership with the African Union, the AfCFTA Secretariat, and the AeTrade Group.

The forum has attracted a diverse array of participants, including ministers from various African nations, diplomats, leading sector experts, researchers, entrepreneurs, and representatives from prominent international organizations, all contributing to a robust exchange of ideas and strategies for Africa's future.
