The Industrial Parks Development Corporation (IPDC) today signed a 1.2 million euro grant agreement with the German Federal Office for Employment Creation (IFE).
Corporation CEO, Aklilu Tadese,expressed heartfelt gratitude at the financial support provided by the German Coordination Office, adding the support will go a long way to improve access to water supply and increase the capacity and satisfaction of the manufacturing companies to increase job creation, which is a huge national goal.
Tadesse assured the German side that the project will be completed on schedule and implemented with full capacity.
Today’s agreement is meant to increase the supply of clean water in the Hawassa Industrial Park, shore up the overall capacity of the manufacturing companies, all by way of helping the park operate at full capacity.
The project, it was further disclosed, will create employment opportunities for more than 300 citizens.//
