Ethiopia’s Medina Eisa has broken the women’s under-20 world record at the fourth edition of Adizero Road to Records road race in Herzogenaurach, Germany, on Saturday.
The nineteen-year-old Medina Eisa crossed the line in just 14:38. Melknat Wudu and Fotien Tesfay completed an all-Ethiopian podium by finishing 2nd and 3rd with the time of 14:40 and 14:41, respectively.
Meanwhile, Yomif Kejelcha has also won the men’s 5000m race, clocking 13:00. His compatriot Yihunie Addisu finished 2nd, clocking 13:05.
