India's exports of textiles, apparel, and handicrafts surpassed $33.5 billion in the 2025-2026 financial year, reaching over 100 countries. This represents a steady increase from the $30.7 billion exported in 2023-2024. India's Minister of State for Textiles, Pabitra Margherita, stated the government is actively monitoring performance and working with industry players to boost competitiveness.

To support this growth, the government is executing a market diversification strategy focused on 40 priority countries.
