Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) attended and delivered remarks at the 2nd African Political Parties Summit held in Addis Ababa under the theme “Governing for Growth.”

During the summit, the Prime Minister highlighted that unity, accountability, and inclusive governance guided by Medemer are essential to ensuring political leadership improves citizens' lives.

He emphasized that political parties must look beyond electoral competition, build consensus on long-term national priorities that transcend changes in government, and work together in the national interest.

Additionally, Prime Minister Abiy stressed the importance of investing in the next generation of leaders by providing them with responsibilities and growth opportunities. He announced that Ethiopia is opening its training at the African Leadership Excellence Academy to political parties across the continent, reaffirming the commitment to building a better future for the region's people.
