Wrestling Icon Terry 'Hulk Hogan' Bollea Dead at 71

Professional wrestling legend Terry "Hulk Hogan" Bollea passed away Thursday at his Florida home at the age of 71, reportedly due to cardiac arrest.

Bollea, a towering figure in the WWE, rose to global stardom in the 1970s and 1980s. He captivated audiences with memorable feuds against rivals such as the Iron Sheik (Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri), the only Iranian-born champion, and Andre the Giant.

Beyond the wrestling ring, Bollea ventured into acting and remained active in performances until the early 2010s. In recent years, he became a vocal supporter of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, even appearing on stage at the Republican National Convention to endorse Trump ahead of the 2024 election, according to Viory.

Bollea's career was not without controversy. He admitted to using anabolic steroids during the trial of WWE owner Vince McMahon, who was acquitted.
