Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali today extended a welcome to Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), as the 2nd UN Food Systems Summit commenced in the Ethiopian capital.

In a tweet, Prime Minister Abiy underscored the enduring partnership between Ethiopia and the FAO, stating, "Welcome once again to Ethiopia, Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), as the 2nd UN Food Systems Summit kicks off in Addis Ababa. FAO continues to be a key partner in supporting Ethiopia’s efforts to achieve sustainable agricultural development and food security."

The summit brings together global leaders and stakeholders to advance discussions and commitments towards transforming food systems worldwide.
