Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) emphasized that the Somali Regional State is not merely a partner but a pillar of the nation.

He pointed out that an investment of approximately $10 billion USD had not been made in the Somali Region over the past 100 years combined, underscoring that the region is overdue for development.

He explained that the Prosperity Party brought this massive investment because it is committed to the belief that the Somali Region deserves development.

He delivered a message that with the arrival of major investment, the region must protect the peace, nurture the investment to fruition, and take care of the investors.

He urged the Regional President, Mustafe Muhumed, who serves as the immediate custodian of the launched projects, to ensure that every resource is utilized effectively for the nation's benefit.
