Ethiopia's Economic Reform Bolsters Food System Development Stresses PM Abiy Ahmed

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) announced that since the first Food Systems Summit in 2021, Ethiopia has unveiled its comprehensive Food Systems Transformation Roadmap.

The Prime Minister stated on his social media that this roadmap is a key component of the country's economic transformation. He highlighted that it's bolstered by macroeconomic reforms and an indigenous economic reform agenda, designed to improve business conditions.

This strategic approach will optimize the use of improved land policies, agricultural development, and rural finance policies, ultimately paving the way for an inclusive and productive food system in Ethiopia.
