Ethiopian Airlines CEO Wins 2025 African Impact Award

Mesfin Tasew, the CEO credited with sustaining the remarkable success and strategic growth of Ethiopian Airlines—Africa's premier carrier linking the continent to the world—has been honored with the 2025 African Impact Award.

The Ethiopian Airlines Group, a member of the Star Alliance, has continued its tradition of excellence, winning numerous awards annually for its role in connecting Africa with the globe.

Under his leadership, Ethiopian Airlines was notably named the Best Airline in Africa by Skytrax for the eighth time. The airline also secured awards for the Best Business Class in Africa, Best Economy Class in Africa, and Best Business Class Catering in Africa.

Information from the airline confirms that CEO Mesfin Tasew was recognized with the African Impact Award for his outstanding performance in maintaining the institution's success and driving its strategic expansion.
