The session, marking the 2nd regular meeting of the 5th year of the 6th House, will begin at 8:30 AM EAT (2:30 AM local time).

During the meeting, Dr. Abiy will specifically address inquiries raised by HoPR members regarding the opening speech delivered by President Taye Atske Selassie to the joint session of the House of Peoples' Representatives and the House of Federation on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Following the Prime Minister's clarifications, the parliament is expected to adopt a motion of support. The House announced that the session will host distinguished guests, including ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, religious leaders, national elders, and representatives from opposition political parties.
