Ethiopian Airlines today announced it took delivery of its 21st Airbus A350-900 widebody aircraft, marking a further expansion of its modern fleet.

The new Airbus A350-900 is described as highly modern and boasts a substantial seating capacity, able to carry up to 340 passengers. 

The addition of this aircraft is set to reinforce the reliable and comfortable service the airline provides to its customers and will help sustain its leading role in the competitive global aviation industry.

As a venerable carrier that has successfully connected Africa with the rest of the world, Ethiopian Airlines is currently in the process of receiving additional state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft in the future.

Looking ahead, and in a move to maintain its competitive edge and leadership in the aviation sector, the airline is currently undertaking preliminary preparations for the development of a massive, new international airport in Bishoftu, a project estimated to cost 10 billion US dollars.
