China has officially begun trial production at the world's first factory dedicated to mass-manufacturing flying carsin Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, according to People's Daily, China.

The massive 120,000-square-meter facility launched operations this week by rolling out its first detachable electric aircraft module, a core component of its modular flying car system.

Designed to have the largest capacity of any plant of its kind, the factory is engineered for an annual output of up to 10,000 detachable aircraft modules, starting with an initial capacity of 5,000 units. When fully operational, the assembly line aims to complete one aircraft module every 30 minutes.
