The Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, today hosted the esteemed Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong, during his visit to the Ethiopian capital.

The Prime Minister was given a guided tour of the Adwa Victory Memorial, which Mayor Adanech described as "a source of pride for all Black people."

During the tour, Prime Minister Wong honored the heroes commemorated at the site, laying a wreath at the monument dedicated to those who fought for the freedom and liberation of Black peoples.

Mayor Adanech Abiebie concluded the visit by extending warm wishes on behalf of the City Administration, expressing hope for a "fruitful stay in the ancient land of Ethiopia and our beautiful city, Addis Ababa."
