Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has provided direction to ensure the effective preparation of COP32.

The prime minister held discussions with the National Steering Committee responsible for coordinating the key preparatory tasks for COP32.

During the discussion, which underscores Ethiopia's commitment to hosting the major climate conference, the prime minister provided guidance on ideas and strategies to ensure a successful summit.

Prime Minister Abiy stated that "We must utilize the COP32 conference for nation-building and for image building." He further elaborated, saying it "will be the biggest conference to help showcase Ethiopia's tourism potential to the world."

The Prime Minister also reaffirmed Ethiopia's dedication to working diligently toward the success of the upcoming climate change conference.
