Africa's leading airline group, has demonstrated its industry dominance by clinching four significant awards at the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) 57th Annual General Assembly, held in Luanda, Angola. These accolades underscore the airline's sustained leadership, financial resilience, and pivotal role in advancing African aviation.

The multiple prestigious honors received by Ethiopian Airlines include:

Airline of the Year for Best Profitability Global Operations (2024): Recognizing the airline's outstanding financial performance on a global scale.

Airline of the Year for Best Improved in Intra Africa Connectivity (2024): Highlighting the carrier's success in significantly enhancing connections across the African continent.

Outstanding Service Award: Granted for the airlines substantial and continuous contribution to the African Aviation Industry.

Distinguished Service Award: In recognition of Ethiopian Airlinespioneering support for the Free Route Airspace Project in Africa, which is vital for the advancement of continental aviation.
