An Ethiopian delegation is participating in the 7th United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-7) currently underway in Nairobi, Kenya.
The team, led by Lelise Neme, Director General of the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), will spend five days discussing key international environmental protection policies.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) confirmed that the delegation is expected to contribute to drafting a medium-term plan. They are also working to build consensus on global frameworks designed to better cope with international environmental challenges.
The Assembly's central focus is on “Empowering sustainable solutions to create a climate change-resilient world.”
