The Office of the Prime Minister has announced the launch of the Digital Ethiopia 2030 Strategy, a comprehensive five-year roadmap designed to place citizens at the heart of the nation’s technological evolution.
Building on the infrastructure milestones of the 2025 initiative, the new strategy shifts focus toward tangible results and cross-sector integration. Myriam Ali, Digital Advisor at the Office of the Prime Minister, emphasized that the next phase of Ethiopia’s digital journey will be defined by a transparent governance framework rooted in measurable outcomes and strict accountability.
"The Digital Ethiopia 2030 Strategy is people-centered and implemented with attention given to all sectors," Ali stated, noting that success hinges on the unified collaboration of all stakeholders to ensure the digital economy benefits every Ethiopian.
