President William Ruto has met with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Addis Ababa to discuss regional security and economic cooperation.

Following what he described as "fruitful discussions," PM Ruto reaffirmed a shared commitment to stability in the Horn of Africa through African-led solutions.

The two leaders also agreed to provide full government backing for Safaricom and Ethiotel to explore joint investment opportunities across the region. PM Ruto stated the move is part of a b,roader vision for "stronger economic integration, digital growth, and shared prosperity."
