In addition to documentation, the ICS confirmed that both air and land border control services have been integrated into the new digital framework to enhance security and efficiency.

The reforms follow an official visit to the institution today by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who reviewed the progress of the modernization efforts firsthand.Following his tour of the facilities, the Prime Minister noted that the institution has been working diligently to update its service system to ensure both citizen satisfaction and staff productivity.

He emphasized that these initiatives are part of a broader commitment to address past challenges and establish a more seamless, technology-driven experience for all clients. Looking ahead, the ICS stated it will continue to refine its delivery systems, aiming to remain a modern institution where technology and service quality meet international standards.
