Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has reaffirmed the government's commitment to the "corridors development initiative," characterizing it as a cornerstone of Ethiopia’s Homegrown Economic Reform Agenda. The Prime Minister noted that the project, which has now expanded to multiple cities beyond the capital, aims to modernize urban mobility and revitalize public spaces nationwide.
According to the PM, the initiative is designed to bolster local economies and enhance environmental resilience. "Our endeavor demonstrates a clear national vision: building liveable, competitive, and inclusive cities that support balanced development and shared prosperity across Ethiopia," the Prime Minister stated.
