Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has welcomed the leaders of Djibouti and Somalia to the city of Jigjiga, signaling a renewed diplomatic effort to bolster cooperation across the Horn of Africa.

President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh of Djibouti and Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud were received by the Prime Minister at Garad Wilwal Airport on Saturday morning. The high-profile gathering of the three East African heads of state is being framed as a powerful symbol of solidarity, highlighting a shared commitment to regional collaboration and collective security.
