Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stated that the first main objective of Ethiopia's economic reform is to stabilize macroeconomic imbalances.
He further explained that the second objective is to achieve high-quality growth by shifting the economic orientation from an agriculture-led approach to a more diversified, multi-sectoral, and multi-actor structure, while another primary goal is to ease the nations debt burden.
The Prime Minister concluded by asserting that, by all measures, Ethiopia has recorded remarkable economic success in these regards.
