Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed officially inaugurated the Logo Hayk Resort today, describing the project as a seamless integration of Wollo’s natural beauty with world-class infrastructure designed to catalyze both local and national economic transformation.

As the second "Dine" project in the Amhara region following Gorgora, the Prime Minister stated that the resort is set to generate direct and indirect employment while stimulating vital value chains across agriculture, transport, hospitality, and services. 

PM Abiy emphasized that the development will create new market opportunities for local producers, artisans, and entrepreneurs, ultimately strengthening tourism-led growth and anchoring sustainable livelihoods for the surrounding communities.

Guided by the spirit of Medemer, the Prime Minister noted that the initiative brought the government and private sector together to translate policy into tangible investment and impact. He highlighted that this collaborative model has laid a durable foundation for public-private partnerships, policy continuity, and long-term economic growth. 

The PM concluded his message by framing the Logo Hayk Resort as an open invitation for the people of Wollo to share their rich heritage, culture, values, and hospitality with the world.
