Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has hailed the opening of the new Logo Lake Resort as a "mirror" to the nation’s vast tourism potential. The resort, located in South Wollo, was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed as part of the flagship "Dine for the Generation" (Gebeta Letiwulid) development initiative.

Describing South Wollo as a region "adorned by nature and decorated by history," DPM Temesgen said the project would serve as a vital economic engine for the area. He emphasized that the resort is designed to stimulate local trade and provide significant employment opportunities for the youth, adding "additive strength" to the national economy.

The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the strategic importance of the site, noting it will act as a primary corridor for both domestic and international visitors. The resort provides a gateway to the region's diverse cultural and religious landmarks, including the historic island monasteries of Lake Hayik.

DPM Temesgen praised the local population for their tradition of "solidarity, love, and tolerance," suggesting the new development would further showcase these values to the world. He concluded by reaffirming the government's commitment to transforming Ethiopia's natural and historical assets into national prosperity, promising that the current "culture of success" would continue to elevate the country’s international standing.
