"A nation is built only through hard work and unity," Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) declared during the official launch of the Busa Gonofa Oromia Integrated Food Industry. Speaking in Nekemte, the prime minister highlighted that the new agricultural processing industrial park, being constructed at a cost of 30 billion Birr, serves as a vital key to unlocking solutions for the region's challenges. This massive industrial hub is set to process maize and other local agricultural yields on-site, a move designed to secure higher incomes for farmers while generating large-scale employment opportunities for the youth.

Prime Minister Abiy extended a specific call to action to native investors and members of the diaspora, urging them to accelerate the city's transformation by investing directly in the park’s infrastructure. He underscored that the reconstruction of Nekemte must be rooted in labor and tangible development rather than bitterness, calling on all citizens to contribute to the city’s path toward prosperity. By invoking the "Busa Gonofa" values of mutual aid and self-sufficiency, the prime minister emphasized a transition from dependency to self-made wealth. He concluded with a plea for national reconciliation, urging Ethiopians to pivot away from internal conflict and return to a collective focus on productivity and steadfast unity.
