President Taye Atske Selassie received Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who is on an official working visit to Ethiopia, for extensive discussions regarding the historical and cultural ties between the two nations.
During the talks, particular focus was placed on further strengthening the role of the Beta Israel community members (Ethiopian Jews), who serve as a "living bridge" between the two countries.
This visit is expected to elevate the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two nations to a new chapter.
