Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has reaffirmed the "enduring friendship" and "trust-based cooperation" between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates following a high-level working visit to Abu Dhabi. During his discussions with UAE President His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Prime Minister emphasized the shared commitment of both nations to deepen a partnership that has spanned several decades.

The talks centered on bolstering long-standing bilateral ties while prioritizing collaborative efforts toward regional stability and economic integration. Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Prime Minister Abiy underscored the importance of the strategic alliance, noting that the mutual trust between the two leaders continues to serve as a foundation for broader regional cooperation. 

The visit highlights the growing influence of the Ethiopia-UAE partnership in shaping the geopolitical and economic landscape of both the Horn of Africa and the Gulf region.
