Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has expressed his deep sadness over the loss of life and displacement caused by landslides and flooding in the Gamo Zone of the South Ethiopia Regional State.

In a message addressed to Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud extended his heartfelt sympathies to the government and people of Ethiopia. 

The President conveyed his profound solidarity with the families of the deceased and all those affected by the natural disaster. He further reaffirmed that Somalia stands firmly with the Ethiopian government and people during this difficult period.
