Ethio Telecom has officially launched "teleSign," a groundbreaking digital solution developed in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the Federal Documents Authentication and Registration Service. 

This first-of-its-kind national system marks a historic milestone in Ethiopia’s digital transformation by allowing citizens and the Diaspora to access power of attorney, document authentication, and lawyer licensing services remotely. 

By integrating Artificial Intelligence for liveness detection and syncing with the National Digital ID (Fayda), the platform ensures secure identity verification, allowing users to grant or revoke legal authority without physically visiting an embassy or government office. 

This paperless system slashes processing times from weeks to just minutes, offering 24/7 access with seamless payment integration through telebirr. Furthermore, the solution guarantees national data sovereignty by hosting all information locally on Ethio Telecom’s cloud infrastructure. 

Users can now access these essential government services from anywhere via the teleSign mobile app, web portal, or QR codes, reinforcing Ethio Telecom’s role as a leader in modernizing institutional workflows and expanding citizen-centric digital platforms.
